About the consultancy and vacancy?

With 2 offices around the country and a total of circa 50 engineers between them, this practice is now looking to expand their Redditch based and already established Sustainability and Building Services Design team with an enthusiastic Thermal Modeller – someone with sound building physics experience and a passion for sustainable design.

They are in a phase of growth with several different large and small projects coming in and utilise all the latest technologies while putting BIM and Sustainability at the core of what they do. They have a varied project range that they work on, anything from one off luxury residential homes to large offices either locally or around the country.

If you are looking for a position where you can develop your career and move more towards senior levels, this is the perfect role for you. Due to this we are looking for an independent and experienced Modeller, someone who can hold their own in front of clients as well as designing several different projects at one time.

What this consultancy are looking for from the successful Thermal Modeller?

  • Ideally a building services or sustainability specific degree

  • A good understand of IES thermal modelling software

  • A building services, mechanical or Sustainability background would be advantageous but not essential

  • Outgoing, motivated and team player attitude.
