An Interior Designer is required for a specialist multi-disciplinary practice based in Leeds City Centre. This a great opportunity to join a practice that consists of Architects, Designers, Town Planners, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors.

The practice currently employs over 50 staff and they are looking for an Interior Designer to join them and support the growing workload. The practice believes in making people’s lives’ better and improving their work environment. There is a company ethos of define, design and deliver that is taking into every project no matter the value of it.

I am looking for an Interior Designer who has commercial fit out experience and someone who is confident producing spatial planning, design, mood and finishes boards. The position will involve ensuring contracts are carried out within budget and achieving the best price for a contract in a bidding situation.

What will you be doing?

  • Working on mainly commercial fit out projects

  • Work within teams independently on your own

  • producing spatial planning, design, mood and finishes boards

  • leasing with stakeholders such as suppliers and contractors to ensure the budgets are met

Salary & Benefits

Between £25,000-£40,000 depending on previous experience. Flexible working hours, company pension, discretionary bonus.

What is expected?

  • Proven experience of communicating with team members and clients

  • Knowledge working on commercial furniture and fit out for commercial/office to residential projects

  • Ability to use Revit and strong presentation skills

  • Confident in spatial planning, design, assemble mood and finishes boards

  • Strong Math’s & IT skills
