About the Company?

Working across East Anglia, this practice is made up of a small team of chartered technicians and technologists, based in two offices. Specializing in residential projects, this practice has a combined total of over 50 years’ experience in the industry. As a result, the successful candidate must have at least three years’ experience and ideally MCIAT registered.

AutoCAD, and Office Suite are all used by this practice, so it is essential the successful Architectural Technician is proficient at using these software’s. Revit knowledge is desirable but not essential, as they are looking to develop their 3D activity in the near future. Everyone at the practice speaks to clients, contractors and consultants no matter what their level so the candidate must also comfortable with communicating over the phone.

The company is offering a flexible salary dependent on experience in the industry. Parking for the office is available on the main high street. There is also a bus route located just around the corner from the office, making commuting to the office simple.

What they require form a successful Architectural Technician?

  • Minimum of 3 years experience and ideally MCIAT registered.

  • Ability to demonstrate technical detailing proficiency to UK building regulations in more complex one-off residential projects

  • Great understanding of how buildings work and are constructed

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and office suite and an appetite to use Revit in the future

  • Experience submitting and handling planning applications

  • Loyal and desire to be committed to the company

  • Experience managing more junior members of the team
