You might hear recruiters speak about the ‘process’ or the ‘recruitment process’ but they may never actually talk to you about, or agree on, ‘the process’ – they are keeping to a set of rules or structure which you may have no idea about! That is why we will always discuss our proven process regarding how we operate, with you.

To keep it simple, we have broken it down into 6 steps for you.

Fully Qualified Candidate & Permission To Send CV

Thorough preparation with both parties gives us the best chance to prepare the candidate you will be meeting – they will have a better understanding of the business, people they will be meeting and what they may need to talk about in the most detail. We also offer interview sessions if you want to brush up on your technique!

Sending The CV & Evaluation

The CV will always be sent to the decision maker who would have been finalised beforehand. A conversation about the CV will not only give us a better understanding of whether we are on the right lines with sourcing the ideal candidate, but it will give the candidates who have expressed interest in your business feedback and understanding of how they may be able to improve if it’s a no.

Interviews & Preparation

Thorough preparation with both parties gives us the best chance to prepare the candidate you will be meeting – they will have a better understanding of the business, people they will be meeting and what they may need to talk about in the most detail. We also offer interview sessions if you want to brush up on your technique!

Feedback

We will always speak to the candidate first to get their thoughts – this will give us an understanding if they enjoyed the meeting and if it’s worth offering them a position. We will also gather feedback from the client to see how they felt the meeting went. Decisions can then be made to either move forward or opt for another individual.

Decisions & Offer

If positive from both parties, we will re-qualify the candidate and their expectations, start date and any changes to their situation. This will follow on to a second conversation with the client to discuss the scope of a successful offer. If you are unable to offer a salary which the candidate is looking for and we know they will decline, why go through the hassle of preparing that offer.

Delivering The Offer & Aftercare

The offer should always be verbally delivered through Konker for maximum impact – if you have a process in place which says differently, we can discuss and agree on how this can be done correctly. We’ll agree on a timescale for a final decision to be made and once accepted, our process doesn’t end there. We will stay in touch with both parties to assist through notice periods and early months of employment.
